Differential Pumping Accessory, DP100

Designed to help maintain vacuum in your spectrometer when operating windowless vacuum and extreme ultraviolet hollow cathode or glow discharge lamps like our models 629, 630 and 634. The DP100 has a low profile cross section and takes up little space along the beam line. It mounts readily between McPherson entrance slits and windowless, flowing gas lamps. The differential aperture can be supplied in almost any size and shape. Typical apertures used with sources yield approximately 10^-3 torr pressure differential. This accessory is constructed of stainless steel. Pump port is 2.75 inch outer diameter metal seal flange.

Low profile vacuum isolation valve has 0.6inch cross section. Great for use with fast optical systems. This isolation valve assembly can be utilized in our systems or supplied with flanges fitting your requirement. Large open aperture is useful in conjunction with filter/sample wheels or behind McPherson spectrometers slits. This unit permits to vent one side to atmosphere while maintaining 10^-6 torr vacuum on the other. It is available in manual, pneumatic or solenoid actuated versions. Constructed of aluminum. We also fit commercial gate valves (right) with vacuum tight optical windows for isolation and environmental control in spectroscopy systems.

Vacuum Manifolds

Achieving vacuum can be difficult. We offer high conductance pump flange adapters and manifolds for all McPherson vacuum monochromators. There are several useful versions available standard. For example, the photo shows a pump adapter that connects - with good conductance - the pump port of the Model 234/302 to a user friendly NW100 standard flange. Accessory ports are provided for gages or other accessories. This manifold will help you pump quickly. Constructed of stainless steel, it will also help your system stay clean. We have in house vacuum welding and leak detection capability, if you have drawings we can build and test your vacuum components to print.
