Fluorescence Detector for Environmental Monitoring

The McPherson FL750 HPLC PLUS Fluorescence Detector detects herbicides, pesticides and oil in water. Highly toxic compounds such as carabamates and glysophates and hydrocarbons can be quantitatively measured to less than 1 ppb! The McPherson detector can be equipped with conventional cuvettes or with micro-flow through high pressure cells. A semi-preparative version of these cells is used to directly monitor oil concentrations in water samples at test sites. Flow rates of 2 liters per minute with low probability of internal clogging are achieved with this flow cell approach.

You can optimize the McPherson FL750 HPLC PLUS Fluorescence Detector for specific measurement environments. You can set the excitation and emission wavelengths in advance and configure the detector to provide a full scale 1 Volt output for the desired range of concentrations. The detector allows a range of operation from 1 ppb to 1 to10 mg / ml where absorbance is the detection method of choice.
