The Model 270 is a 350-mm focal length f/6.4 Czerny-Turner monochromator and is no longer in regular production. It has been functionally replaced by the current Model 2035.
Model 270 350-mm focal length Monochromator

The Model 270 monochromator was produced as a stand alone monochromator for general laboratory use (Model 270) as well as an integral building block for a finished spectrophotometer system. The spectrophotometer was known as the EU700 and was marketed by the HEATH corporation and built by McPherson. Hundreds of these Heath EU700 instruments shipped throughout the seventies and early eighties.

We are pleased to offer limited support for the Model 270 monochromator. We regularly furnish several types of upgrade kits or services.
